The Wattle Way Strata is self-managed and levies are also kept low by community involvement in all appropriate gardening activities. A cost-effective maintenance contract is in place.
Currently, Administrative Fund annual levies are approximately $1500 plus Reserve Fund annual levies (towards future major repairs) of $1300 (2 brm) or $1600 (4brm).
Purchase for Non-Resident Investment
Investors seeking to buy and then rent their home, are welcome as it allows DecoHousing Group members without sufficient equity for purchasing to live in the community as renters.
Steps to Purchase
Purchasing a home unit and the common amenities involves three steps:

Becoming a member of the DecoHousing Denmark group.

Sign the Community Agreements and Code of Conduct.

Conditions of Purchase and Occupancy
All purchasers and renters are expected to be members of the DecoHousing Group. Both potential purchasers and potential renters will also be clearly informed of their obligations in signing the Community Agreements.
Residents will be bound by the bylaws of the Strata Management Statement.
This includes a restriction on dogs, cats and other hunting pets.
Unit owners will be encouraged to have their homes not vacant for more than 3 months at a time and no more than 4 months in a year, beyond such periods they require subletting or house-sitting by endorsed DecoHousing members. These constraints are intended to encourage resident’s participation in the vision, intention and life of the community.
